About our Pool
This lovely pool, with views across the valley, opened in September 2000 and has proved to be very popular with our swimmers, some of whom have been with us since we opened. The pool is open from early morning to late at night, seven days a week and 52 weeks of the year!
Our pool is a little unusual in that we have split the year into 4 x 13 week quarters and we hire it out to people for a block of 13 weeks. We have pre-defined these quarters. Each day is split into half hour sessions and people hire the pool exclusively for the same session each week during the quarter.
The cost per half hour is £14.50 (£188.50 for a full quarter payable in advance) and this covers you to bring with you up to 8 people. You have exclusive use of the pool for your half hour. You have use of a changing room and showers for 15 minutes before your session and for 15 minutes after your session.
You can park immediately outside and the pool has a CD/radio player. The water is kept at about 92 degrees and there is under floor heating throughout. There are quadrant steps at one corner with a handrail for safe and easy access. The pool is 4 feet 1 inch deep throughout.
The pool is particularly popular with those who enjoy, or need, to swim but wish to do so in private.
Should you wish to join us part way through a quarter we would only charge you for the weeks remaining. The current quarter ends on 20.5.10.
